The small horizontal tensile testing machine consists of two main systems: a computer or digital display and the main testing unit. The computer or digital display acts as the control system, enabling fully automated testing and automatic data acquisition via data sensors. It is primarily used for testing and researching the tensile, compressive, and bending mechanical properties of various metals, non-metals, and composite materials, as well as for small specimens.
Product Overview
It features convenient operation, continuously adjustable testing speed, automatic stop upon specimen breakage, digital display of testing force, and peak value hold. For these small specimens, a single ball screw provides a more sensitive and rapid response, and high-precision H-grade linear guides are installed on both sides. This provides support for direct display of displacement and deformation on the main unit and for measuring and displaying deformation using a dial indicator.
Because the metal plates at both ends of the specimen are very small, a precision-milled groove is used in the chuck (as shown in the image below) to hold the specimen in place, followed by clamping with a precision-machined stainless steel indenter. This simple and reliable structure… Screw holes are added to the sides of the left and right clamp heads to provide conditions for clamping dumbbell-shaped and plate-shaped samples. For samples with large deformation, the deformation can be detected by the displacement of the machine itself. If the sample size is small and the deformation is minimal, a dial indicator can be used to directly measure the sample to ensure the accuracy of deformation measurement.
